For the group exhibit titled Home as Shelter, I began experimenting with a new material: cement. It was very exciting, as I tend to cycle through a limited set of materials over the years rather than expand the set. I plan to continue working with it. This untitled installation is also composed of lengths of found wood that I painted in about 2002, painted wood sculptures from 2012, and wire. I haven't worked with wire in some years, so am excited for this development too.

Also in this exhibit was a new composition of the splinter sculptures from 2014. This is the same body of work I drew from for my installations in Abductions and Reconstructions and in Lightly Structured.
