Covid changed my studio practice. All Fall Down 12, was the last pre-Covid piece. It was unfinished, then the pandemic began to settle in. There was no going back into it, and no need. It resolved itself as events and emotions caught up with it.

My practice has largely become taking street photos on long walks in my Brooklyn neighborhood (with its deep family history) and in Manhattan. The Pandemic Walks are photo essays from the early months; I have been publishing to Instagram since then. I don't see them as finished work, though each is resolved and the feed makes the sense I'm looking for.

I'm excited to see this new work continue and to find form. You can follow me on IG at lizsweibel. Thank you for your interest.
